Renter FAQs

Sign up for Rentierre and create a profile. Choose a product to rent and prior to paying, submit a valid ID as well as payment details for verification, then select your rental dates. Send your request for approval, once it has been approved and shipped by the lender, return it the day after your rental period using a next-day tracked shipping method.

(Function not available yet) Head over to your profile and generate a code, share the referral code with friends, family and colleagues to earn up to £180 (you and the person involved that has successfully created an account will earn £15 each).

We recommend renting for the full duration that you need, factoring in delivery and return times. Ensure the item arrives before you need it and allow time for any unforeseen delays, eg. if you need it 7 days from today, ensure to get in touch with lenders by the 2nd day. Rentals must be returned after the day of the rental period termination using Next Day Delivery.

If your rental doesn’t match the description (eg. size) or images, contact the lender within 12 hours of receipt with photos. Keep the item unworn and in its original condition. If lender agrees for refund, ship it out the same day with Next Day Delivery tracked. If unresolved you can get in touch to raise a dispute - approved refunds will be issued as Rental credit.

All rentals must be shipped back the day after the rental period is over via a tracked next-day delivery. The renter is responsible for ensuring safe return, so we recommend using a tracked and insured service that covers the item's full RRP. If the item is lost or damaged in transit, the renter must reimburse the lender, but insurance may allow them to reclaim the cost from the shipping provider. Tracking and proof of postage must be sent to the lender right after shipping. Be sure to follow any specific return instructions given by the lender.

Our team does the best to prevent disappointing outcomes for renters, however such cannot be always obtained - hence why we request renters to capture photos of both when they receive the rental and before returning it. We also recommend filming a detailed video of the entire garment.

To qualify for a refund, any rental issues must be reported and the item dispatched back to the lender. If the item is kept for the full rental period, the renter will not be eligible for a refund. We suggest to get in touch with the lender prior to opening any disputes and try to come up with a solution, if such has not been achieved, feel free to get in touch with us via out “Help” section.
Lender FAQs

You can either start listing by clicking “Lend” at our home page or after having signed up heading over to your profile section and clicking “My listings”. Next, select the type and brand, then add a description with fit details, defects, and comments. Include high-quality images and ensure to upload at least one fit pic. Set your pricing and rental periods. Submit for review, and once approved, you're ready to start lending at 0% fees!

To understand RRP, please use “Google lens” or search it up online, RRP will be the definitive method for out team to understand product value if something were to happen to it. We recommend to price rentals around 1 / 10 of the original price, per day (eg. if a shirt is £100 we would suggest to price it at £10 p/d).

More factors to take into consideration when pricing a rental: cleaning and minor repairs.

We allow Luxury, High-End Fashion, Hand-made products (eg. artisanal) and Vintage Fashion on our marketplace.

We do not allow Fast fashion or low-quality items, Lingerie, swimwear (for hygiene reasons), Beauty products (makeup, skincare), heavily damaged, counterfeit and unverified designer pieces. If a user is found repeatedly posting products in this list we may take action and permanently ban them from using our marketplace.

We strongly recommend to upload listing with the following: Images of the item being worn by yourself, friends, family and anyone else who has given written consent. Photo's from various angles, close-ups to show any details/imperfections, and images of care label and branding label.

We recommend avoiding the following: Images saved from retail websites or taken online without permission, creased or laid flat product’s images, alterated images and low resolution (pixelated) images.

Choosing the right courier is crucial to lower chances of delays . Typically, we suggest UPS, Fedex OR DHL. If your parcel is delayed in transit, you, as the sender, will be responsible for addressing the issue with the delivery provider - if you've paid for next-day insured service and it’s not fulfilled, you can claim a full refund from the delivery provider.

Images and description should reflect the product itself in terms of condition, if the renter receives a product with visible marks or damage on the garment they should reach out to you within 12 hours of receipt. The renter has the responsibility to return the product in the same state they have received it, if they fail to do so they may be subject to extra fees from you to cover cleaning/repairing costs.

After the rental period has concluded, as a lender you should clean the product following care labels, this is to retain garment structure and quality for as long as possible.

Rentals must arrive on the first day of the rental period—late deliveries may qualify for a refund. Choose any delivery service, but we recommend next-day, fully tracked, and insured for the item’s RRP. The sender is responsible for lost or damaged items. Always include a return address, package items securely, and factor in Sundays and Bank Holidays when scheduling deliveries.
